This outfitter runs a family operation on 3 different ranches on the
South Island of New Zealand.
Success has been 100% for all his customers the past several years and they
have taken quite a few stags scoring over 400 SCI.
He offers a 4-day silver medal hunt for stags scoring up to 330 SCI
for only $3,500. Gold medal
hunts for stags up to 350 are priced at $5,500.
351 up to 400-inch bulls add $100 per SCI point.
There is also a $250 day rate for hunters and $200 for non-hunters.
They also offer a combination including a silver medal
stag, tahr and chamois 8-day hunt for only $11,900. The same combination
including a gold medal stag is $13,900.
They also offer tahr hunts for $3,800 and chamois is
$3,000. Hunters typically do not need a helicopter for tahr hunts, but
sometimes it is necessary on chamois hunts.
The helicopter charge would then be $1,000.
Early April is prime roaring for the stags and he has
recently built a cozy wilderness lodge.

HUNT THE NORTHERN TERRITORY OF AUSTRALIA
This 360,000-acre cattle ranch with lodge accommodations is
located in the Northern Territory approximately two and a half hours east of
Katherine. 7-day hunts from June
to October for buffalo are $8,000 or if you bring a hunting partner the
price drops to $7,000 each guided 2x1.
A second buffalo can be taken for $3,000.
Wild scrub bulls are $650, trophy
wild boar $500 and non-hunters are $250 per day.
Combination hunts for buffalo, scrub bull and wild boar is
$9,000 1x1 or $8,000 guided 2x1.
CULL HUNTS CAN ALSO BE ARRANGED.
Prices do not include import and export permits for
trophies, firearms or trophy shipping.
Hunters fly into Sydney, overnight in Darwin, where transfer is
included by vehicle.
