This outfit has been in operation since 1993 and continues
to be one of the top
Zambia
destinations. They are well known for their lions, leopard
and buff along with all Zambian species. Their area is located
in the Luangwa
and is bordered by 3 national parks. Camp overlooks the
Luangwa River and is grass thatched chalets with flush toilets,
hot showers, solar lighting and mosquito net beds.
Buffalo hunts can be done for
7 or 10 days, while leopard is 14 and lion is 18 or combo for 21 days.
In 2010 they took 7 lions for 8 hunters and all
leopard hunts were successful. In 2009 they were 80% success on
lion and quality was unmatched. Leopard and sitatunga were 100%
success in the Tondwa GMA. This area also has roan, blue duiker,
puku, Liechtenstein
hartebeest, sable, bushbuck and reedbuck. Buffalo taken typically run from 38 to 45
inches.
Hunters are met in
Lusaka
and can either take a charter flight to camp or ground transfer at $850
per vehicle. Observer rates are $250 per day. Not included
are concession fees, trophy fees, licenses, change of area fee, ground
