Brown Bear
Hunt BR46
HUNT SOUTHEAST ALASKAN BROWNIES
OFF 58-FOOT YACHT ONLY $11,500
An extremely late cold spring in 2009 put an end
to our 100% success rate HCU customers had enjoyed for the past 18 years
with this outfitter. He takes a
total of 7 hunters in the spring starting about April 25.
Two hunters on the first hunt for 10 days, since it can be tougher if
Alaska experiences a late spring as the bears will come out later.
They took one good 9-foot boar on this hunt.
The second hunt is for 2 hunters, 7 days and this hunt has always
produced good numbers of bears, but neither hunter scored.
The third hunt is 3 hunters for 10 days and finishes May 20.
All 3 hunters took good boars, 2 near the 9-foot mark and a blonde
8-footer.
Accommodations have been on his 58-foot Hatteras with 3
staterooms, 3 toilets and 2 showers, making this a very comfortable base
camp.
Price for any of the 3 hunts is $11,500 and next
openings are one spot each on the first and third hunt in 2011.
Fly into Juneau and take a roundtrip charter flight to the boat for
$250. Non-hunters are priced at $2,000 and we have had several hunters take
their spouse along on this very relaxing enjoyable adventure.
