Hunt BR776

BOAT HUNT ALASKA PENINSULA
OR TRADITIONAL LAND-BASED CAMP
50 MILES OF PRIVATE SHORELINE

2012 spring hunt was one of their best despite the late spring with long lasting snow.  They took 10 bears for all 10 hunters, including 3 over 10-foot and 2 should make Boone and Crockett record book.

2011 was a fall season on the peninsula and his 7 hunters took 6 brownies, with the best going 9’6”.  The unsuccessful hunter passed on a 9 footer, the best bear he saw during the hunt.

Spring of 2010 his 10 hunters tagged 8 brownies averaging over 9-foot and 2 were taken that squared just shy of 10-foot.  One of the hunters passed on a smaller 8 footer, so the outfitter brought him back in the fall on a grizzly hunt that proved to be successful.

This outfitter offers boat hunts off the Pacific coast of the Alaskan Peninsula or land-based hunts either with tent or cabin accommodations.  He has over 50 miles of privately owned shoreline exclusive to his hunters.

Accommodations are a 58-foot yacht which cruises the coastline, while the guides glass the shore looking for bears. During your hunt you can fish for halibut and cod, and crab pots are set for your dining pleasure.  Land-based hunts can include spike camps.

All hunts are 1x1.  9-day spring boat hunts are May 10 to 18 or 7-day boat hunts May 19 to 25, both priced at $20,000.  Spring land-based hunts for 9 days May 10 to 18 are $18,000 or 16-day hunts May 10 to 25 are $20,000.  Fall hunts are 10 days from October 1 to 10 and priced at $20,000 for boat or $18,000 for land-based.  All hunts will be priced at $20,000 in 2014.  Fly to Anchorage and take a flight to Sand Point.
