Hunt EK157

WYOMING UNIT 5 TROPHY ELK
It normally takes maximum points to draw this permit.  4-day 1x1 hunt is $3,500 plus a $5,000 trophy fee.  If a hunter keeps his finger off the trigger he stands a good chance of taking a 350 or better bull.

The outfitter runs pronghorn and mule deer hunts on this 20,000-acre ranch located between Laramie and Wheatland.  The ranch also has most of the dark timber on the mountain within its boundaries, keeping elk numbers high and quality is excellent.  Most elk are found near 6,500 feet elevation with very good road access.  Hunt takes place about October 7 to 10 with airport pickup in Cheyenne.  Draw deadline is January 31.
