This outfitter holds several private land leases that have been very high success on bulls and bucks in northwestern Colorado. What makes these ranches so unique is the outfitter will pack out your animals at no charge and he allows you to hunt whatever you have tags for at no extra cost. Some hunters have taken a bull, cow and muley buck for one low cost. Price is determined on which ranch you are on and he doesn’t mix parties so you need a group of about 4 and you get the ranch.

Archery elk on the Schoolhouse property includes lodging for $2,000 per man and rifle elk is $2,250. Cathy’s Ranch is $2,500 for a rifle hunt, but it includes lodging and meals. Pete’s Ranch is $1,800 to $2,000 depending on group size. Balls Ranch is $1,500 per man for a group or $1,800 each for only 2 hunters and there is no lodging. These are small properties in the 1,500 acre range. Repeat hunters take up most bookings, so call for openings.
