We work with another New Mexico outfitter that runs a November cow elk hunt for $1,200 and this includes the landowner voucher.  You will be responsible for the state license and tax. This 3-day hunt includes 2x1 guiding, ranch house accommodations and meals.  Success should run near 100% on the 12,000-acre private ranch with road access for older hunters.  If someone wants a bull the price will be $3,500 plus $1,000 trophy fee and hunt dates can be arranged to work for both.  Hunters fly into Colorado Springs and rent a car.
