Ranch Rosato is 25,000 private acres of low country, fairly open with wide grasslands and sage that the elk have migrated out of the high country and taken up residence here in the San Luis Valley.  Elk numbers are very high on this ranch.  They usually take 4 hunters late September up to mid-November and success was 100% last fall on good 6x6 bulls gross scoring up to 330 inches.     5-day hunt guided 2x1 full service includes nice ranch house lodging and meals for only $7,500 and this is not a physical hunt or at high elevation.
