Moose
Hunt MS483
Last fall success ran 100 percent for every hunter’s main animal. They took 12 bull moose, 10 billies and 6 bull elk. Many hunters took a second animal and some all three. Best moose made the Boone and Crockett record book. Best mountain goat scored 47 inches and the best elk scored 291.
In 2012 his hunters took 12 bulls; including a 199-inch Boone and Crockett record book bull. In 2011 they had 16 hunters with moose tags score on 15 bulls, including a monster 57-inch bull that scored 207 Boone and Crockett. In 2010 they took about 15 bulls averaging near 50 inches and the best one had a 54-inch spread and should book at 185 inches.
This area also has a very high elk density and rifle
hunters experience a near 100% success rate on bulls averaging in the
280 to 290 class. September
9 to October 31 there is a 6-point antler restriction on the elk.
Bowhunters also do quite well here and account for several bulls each
fall. 10-day 1x1 hunts are $12,500 plus $3,500 for each additional
animal and trophy fee on grizzly is only $7,000. Price INCLUDES taxes
and government royalty fees. Hunters pay for their charter from

Mike Scavnicky with a nice bull taken on this hunt.
