10-day 1x1 horseback or backpack hunt is $7,500 and includes black
bear and wolf. He is willing to do a 2x1 price of $6,000 for a
couple buddies. In 2010 he had 7 moose hunters tag 6 bulls ranging
in size from 45 to 53 inches. In 2009 he had 9 hunters score on 7
bulls averaging 50 inches. His area has high goat numbers and over
the course of his last 5 years 19 hunters wanting goat as their primary
animal harvested 18. Mountain goat or possibly elk can be added on
a $2,500 trophy fee.
The outfitter has made major improvements to this area since he purchased it 5 years ago, including 2 new main camps each with 6 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchens, satellite TV and internet. He has also established 5 spike camps that opened much more country with newly cut horse trails.
