ARIZONA DESERT MULE DEER

This hunt takes place on 2 private ranches in southeastern Arizona consisting of about 60,000 acres that has not been hunted over a 10-year period. Deer numbers are extremely high and some days produce well over 200 deer sightings. The outfitter is a very experienced elk, mule deer and coues outfitter that produces super quality. He has taken a few archers on the property in January of 2012 and they took a 185, 163, a buck in the 150’s and hit a buck they expected to gross in the 190’s. He took 2 youth hunters on a management hunt and both scored on 12-year old deer, with the best grossing 175. He expects to obtain some rifle spots for 2013 and plans on taking bucks in the 160 to 180’s.

5-day hunts guided 1x1 are $5,800 and he also has some public ground that has been productive for $3,800. Rifle hunts would be the first 2 weeks of November.
