HUNT MONSTER MULE DEER IN THE TEXAS SANDHILLS
Last year they took 2 bucks off this 60,000-acre ranch, one was over 34 inches wide on the inside and grossed 189 and the other was 28 inches and scored 193.  They took a third hunter on the property and he hit a buck they didn’t recover.  This hunt will remind you of Mexico, but the bucks weigh over 300 pounds.  With plenty of scrub oak on the property producing a large mast crop of acorns the deer grow big.  The outfitter hunts the property like Mexico by glassing from high points for spot and stalk and during the day they track the bucks.  Last year they looked at 12 bucks that would gross over 170 inches.

4-day hunt is $5,000 and takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving.  Accommodations are either a travel trailer or RV with electricity and water.  Hunters are picked up in Midland.
