Whitetail
Hunt WD5
$4000 NEBRASKA
WHITETAIL
AVERAGED 148 INCHES IN 2012
This hunt typically runs 100% success on nice Nebraska whitetails gross scoring in the
140-class and up to 170. In 2012 his 5 rifle hunters tagged 5
bucks including a 171, 153, 147 and 2 in the high 130’s. He only
takes one bowhunter per year and he arrowed a real old buck that had
terrific mass, but didn’t score well. He rebooked so 2013 archery
is full.
This outfitter/rancher has 4,500 private-acres along
the Niobrara River and he normally only takes about 5
hunters on this 5-day mid-November rifle rut hunt for $4,000. Nice bed
and breakfast accommodations on the ranch, meals and guide service
included. 6-day archery trespass fees in October are $2,800 and lodging
is included, but hunters take care of their own meals. He usually only
takes one or two bowhunters per year and success has been 100% in past
years. Hunters fly into Rapid
City and rent a car. Space is very limited due to
repeat bookings.
