This may be our best whitetail hunt. At press time the rifle hunts had just started so call us for the latest stats. In 2010 all 16 hunters tagged bucks with an average gross score of 158 Boone and Crockett, including a 190 and a 180-inch deer. That is simply incredible.

He takes 8 whitetail only hunters and 8 combination whitetail/mule deer hunters each year. His 8 mule deer hunters were also 100% successful and top bucks included a 188, 185 and a 181 with an average gross score of 177 Boone and Crockett.

This hunt takes place in farmland country in the agricultural region near Stettler, between Calgary and Edmonton. The outfitter uses treestands as well as putting on drives in riverbottoms and using vehicles to cover country.

He likes to take 4 hunters a week during the last 3 weeks of November. 6-day hunts guided 2x1 are $5,000 or 1x1 is $6,000. Nice cabin accommodations, meals, and airport pickup in Edmonton. He also offers a 6-day combination hunt for both whitetail and mule deer for $9,500 guided 1x1 or 10 days for $10,500. Mule deer only is $7,500. License and tax is included. Very limited openings.
