Past years this had been a 6-day hunt and the evenings in late September and the first half of October have been much more productive so he went to a 10-day hunt basically evenings for whitetail or if you combo it would be all day hunting to include stalking for mule deer.

Last fall he only took 2 whitetail archers and they took a 152. He also had 8 bowhunters after mule deer and they took 5, crippled 2 and missed 2. They got a 183, 178, 173, 172 and a 163.

In 2010 he had 7 bowhunters take a 154 whitetail and a 141. 3 hunters also crippled bucks and 2 missed. 2 mule deer, a 168 and 155-inch were also taken and 3 hunters missed.

To give you an idea of the quality of deer that are on these farms, his gun hunts consistently produce 100% success on whitetails averaging in the high 150’s and the better bucks score in the 180’s and 190’s, muleys have averaged 180 inches.

10-day whitetail evening hunt is $4,500 or add mule deer and do the combo hunt for trophy class bucks for $6,500. This includes license, tax, lodging, meals, guide service and airport pickup in Edmonton. He only wants up to 4 archery hunters in 2012.
