GRANDE GOBBLERS 2 FOR $1250
Most everyone should take 2 gobblers on this hunt and it includes nice
lodging, meals, guiding and airport pickup!
The outfitter operates on 20,000 acres about 30 miles south of San
Angelo. Last spring all 19
hunters took gobblers and most scored on two.
He runs three 2 1/2-day full service hunts starting the first weekend
of April and goes to the end of the month.
Hunters can hunt over feeders, water, near roost sites or just walk
and call. Call early as openings
fill fast, lots of birds.

OSCEOLA GOBBLERS, GATORS AND HOGS
We work with 2 Florida outfitters that have been traditionally 100
percent success past years on everything.
We have hunted with both of them and all of our customers have given
them top ratings. It can
sometimes be difficult to secure an opening since their repeat business is
very high.
This outfitter located near Okeechobee offers his 4-day
turkey hunt for $2,500 and you can take some hogs at no cost as long as you
take the meat home. They have a
real nice operation with very comfortable cabins in a great setting in the
woods.
They normally harvest 35 to 40 long beards every spring
and if you cripple a bird and do not find it your hunt is over.
Hog hunting package for 3 days and 3 nights is $650 and
includes two hogs, additional hogs are $125.
Gator hunts on 8 to 9 foot gators are $1,750, 9 to 11 foot
$2,750, 11 to 12 foot $3,750, over 12 foot $5,250.
Gator and hog combos make a great trip.
He also offers several packages, such as a 2 1/2-day hog
hunt and fishing trip or a hog/gator/bass combo that includes a trophy boar,
gator under 8 feet and fishing.

Another outfitter is located only 40
miles south of Orlando and this hunt is easily combined with a family
vacation at Disney. He offers
turkey hunts from March 18 to April 23 priced at $2,200 for 3 days on 25,000
private acres and you can add a hog for $200.
Success has run 95% with 100% opportunity on mature gobblers.
This hunt is in high demand so book early or expect to book at least
a year in advance.
Hog hunts are $225 for the first day and $100 per
additional day with kill fees of $100 for a meat hog and $150 for trophy
boars. 3-day hog hunts are $650
plus trophy fees. You can sit at
blinds, spot and stalk or use hounds.
Gator hunting is a very fun and exciting sport.
It can be done with the use of airboats at night with archery gear or
spears. Rifles and a swamp buggy
are used mostly in the day.
Gators up to 8 foot are priced at $100 per foot plus day rate of $325 and
trophy gators from 9 to 12 feet are $3,200.
This outfitter is an accomplished archer and offers all his hunts

2 KANSAS OUTFITS OFFER RIOS AND
EASTERNS
These Kansas outfitters hunt private property that
has both easterns and rios. High
bird numbers that are very callable make this a great destination and fun
hunt.
One of our Kansas outfitters hosted 11
hunters last spring and they took 20 gobblers.
3-day full service hunt for $1,000 includes nice accommodations, air
conditioning and cable TV.
Hunters fly into Manhattan or Kansas City and rent a car.
He normally runs 3 hunts from April 9 to May 5.

score. He has 25,000 acres of
private property with nice lodge accommodations.

NEW MEXICO
MERRIAMS $900 FOR 2 BIRDS
3-day spring turkey hunt on this 12,000-acre ranch in northeastern New
Mexico are priced right for the group that wants to call in their own
gobblers. He offers this
semi-guided special price to groups of 6 and includes lodging and meals.
He will take bookings of less than 6 for $1,000 each plus license and
tax. Last spring his 8 hunters
tagged 15 gobblers. Season opens
about April 10 and runs to mid-May.
Ranch house accommodations and hunters fly into Colorado Springs or
Amarillo and rent a car.

NEBRASKA
MERRIAMS 3 GOBBLERS ONLY $700
This rancher/outfitter will allow you to hunt 4 days on his
private property for two birds for only $600, with the option to take a
third gobbler for only $100.
Success has continued to be 100% and all HCU customers have been very
satisfied and have taken many mature toms.
Hunters stay at a local motel and eat in restaurants at their own
expense. An effective way to
hunt this big country is glassing and locating birds and then hiking to
them. He normally only takes
about 6 to 8 hunters total per year.
Hunts run from about April 15 to May 20 and early hunts could be

KANSAS OR
NEBRASKA UNGUIDED
HUNTS ONLY $600
AND THIS INCLUDES LODGING
One of our outfitters offers 3-day unguided hunts on either his 25,000
acres in Kansas or 9,000 acres in Nebraska for only $600 and this includes 2
birds. Success in 2009 was 100%.
Both hunts INCLUDE LODGING in either a cabin or lodge, but no meals
or guide service.
Kansas has rios and
easterns while Nebraska
has merriams and some rios.
Hunts are mid-April to late May.
Kansas hunters fly into Manhattan, while Nebraska hunters should fly into
North Platte and rent a car or airport pickup can be arranged for a fee.
You won’t find a better priced hunt that includes lodging for $600.

SUPER GOULDS
TURKEY HUNT IN OLD MEXICO
This is as much as an adventure as it is a hunt.
Success continues to run 100% on mature gobblers for all past HCU
customers. Hunters are met at
the Hermosillio airport and driven about 4 hours east to the hunting area in
the Sierra Madre Mountains near the town of Yecora.
3-day hunt includes ranch house accommodations, meals, license,
paperwork, 2x1 guide and airport pickup for $1,850 if you have a group of 4
and are willing to do some calling on your own.
A second bird can be taken for the
price of the license, $250, and a $250 charge to the landowner.
The season starts about April 15, but the hunting picks up in early
May and May 6 to 15 has been best.

SOUTH DAKOTA PHEASANT PACKAGES
We work with several pheasant operations and here are two that offer
very affordable 3-day hunts or they can tailor to your needs for corporate
or just a few hunting buddies.
This hunt takes place on about 2,000
private-acres located 35 miles from Aberdeen, which is serviced by Northwest
Airlines.
Price is $300 per days and includes nice lodging and all
meals. Guide and dog is an
additional $100 per day per group.
All hunters under the age of 18 are FREE.
Airport pickup in Aberdeen can be arranged for a fee.
October 21 to December 31 season dates and license is $110 plus a 5%

Another family operation has a
preserve status allowing hunters to take up to 15 roosters per day on their
6,500 private-acres located near Pierre.
South Dakota has a program allowing outfitters to have seasons that
run from September to March if they qualify by enhancing the wild bird
population by turning a certain number loose each year.
This also allows them special liberal bag limits.
3 days and 4 nights is $1,500 and includes up to 5 roosters, extra
birds can be taken at $25 each.
Single day-rates are $225 and include 3 roosters.
All hunts include lodging, meals, guides and dogs.

MEXICO WILD
PHEASANT/DOVE ONLY $2500!
Fantastic wild bird pheasant hunting is just across the Arizona border
near San Luis, Mexico. 3 nights
in a nice hotel with 5 shoots and liberal bag limits of 8 roosters daily is
only $2,500. Breakfast buffet at 7:00
AM, hunt from 8 to 12 and again from 2 to 5.
Once you are limited out on pheasants it is quite possible they will
take you dove hunting. They
provide lodging, meals, paperwork, licenses, bird boys, shells and tips.
They also offer gun rental for Beretta’s, Bennelli’s or Browning
shotguns for $200. October 20 to

Yuma, Arizona and driven across the border.

COYOTE/BOBCAT
PREDATOR HUNTS
Here is a fun hunt to do in the off season.
This old trapper/caller has several large private ranches totaling
over 600,000 acres in eastern New Mexico.
He hunts only during daylight hours and mainly calls in coyotes.
On a normal day hunters usually shoot at 4 or 5 coyotes.
Bobcats are more cautious and normally require staying at the calling
location a little longer.
Price is $300 per day for one hunter or $250 each for two
hunters. He supplies the meals
and hunters pay for their own motel at about $40 per night.
Hunts are October to March and hunters fly into Albuquerque or
Amarillo and rent a car.
